Foreign ministers of Somalia and Turkey sign a memorandum of understanding

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation HE Amb. Ahmed Isse Awad on Wednesday held bilateral talks with his Turkish counterpart His Excellency Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Ankara, where they signed an agreement to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two ministries.

The foreign ministers of the two countries discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them to serve common interests in many fields.

The memorandum of understanding signed between the two ministers provides for cooperation in diplomatic training and exchange of information and documentation between Somalia and Turkey.
